This is a meditation I've been using for awhile now and it feels really good. I like to do it while falling asleep or just as a part of a breathing meditation. The mediation is basically what the name implies. I'll think of the first happy memory or memories of when I was a kid. As young as I can remember. Then I'll keep advancing the memories in age. I'll try to think, invision, and completely put myself in how I felt at the actual time of when the event took place. I'll try to remember every happy moment in my life all the way up to where I'm at now. This is a very powerful meditation and it's amazing when you remember things that you haven't even thought about for years or since the experience. One thing that can happen during this is that bad memories that you may have blocked or haven't thought about in a long time can appear out of no where just like the good ones do. What I do is just let the bad memory leave and focus only on the good ones. i sometimes will meditate like this for over an hour and am filled with amazing energy afterwards. It's like by remembering all of the best memories in my life it leaves me with a since that life has so much good to offer and I can let the negative thoughts and experiences just go away. I've used this meditation in times of depression and it works great, especially when only negative thougts seem to be on my mind. I hope this meditation helps some of you or that you'll give it a try. It really is very powerful.

this is a cool meditation derek, because it not only gains happiness, but its also introspection, and sometimes that is the best way to grow, is to turn within rather than without to see patterns, to see your own truths, and I beleive doing things such as this can broaden our minds and open up our awareness even more... thanks for adding this here ;D

No Problem Ronni I love this meditation and everytime I do it I end up remembering memories long forgotten everytime! When you really think about your life there's more experiences in it than you can remember. So dream on!
