Hey. I guess you could consider this a "NEW" technique... it's sort of a long those lines.
After sweeping energy to a chakra I find that it helps to imagine that 2 hands are pushing a ball of energy, or like a golfball into the area from the INside, like making your skin push outwards. You could imagine pushing really hard if the chakra is being stubborn. I think that that alone works better than any of robert bruce's techniques so I thought I'd post about it.

Hey Michael. Quote from that page:I think that's a good point. When I do it I often move my physical hands slightly along with my "awareness" hands. It helps to feel your awareness hands if you imagine them as being just like your physical hands and moving them along (slightly) can help to imagine them more strongly I think.

thanks, great inputs guys!!! "if the chakra is being stubborn" that sounds so cute and funny for my german ears hohohaha, sounds so human, as if the chakras would have an own will, like unruly kids or cows hehehe lgn

Thanks, I wasn't sure cos nobody mentioned it. I heard one version of how to open your chakras and in this exercise you had to fill your chakras with energy of suitable colour and the energy was put into the chakras. Wouldn't pushing it out have the contrary effect??
(againg, I don't have experiences, just curiosity)

mm, no it works. I'm a little skeptical myself of the color thing actually. I always thought that just sounded weird or superstitious (how do you spell that? ...sounds like I'm talking about a hot girl lol) Have you tried that color thing?

Yes I've tried it. I don't find it superstitious (I don't know how to spell it either) at all. I've always connected chakras with colours.

I do believe chakras to have colors, but I've never experienced seeing them have the colors on myself. I just can say that when I first came out of my body, it was orange because the entire room was orange, then I've had red, and the best out of my 3rd eye looked like it could be a light purple/nearly blue, but I also have not seen this chord that people talk about. Stimulating these chakras with a ball sounds so interesting, and clammy at the same time. Once I feel I'm having an OBE, I leave my body very quickly, and I never see my body actually leaving--it's too quick for that. I'm usually out and very far away from the body, however I have seen my body on occasion returning to the body. So are you saying to stimulate these chakra(s) while you're being pulled from your body?

I know that certain gems have colours and are associated with different chakras. For instance bright yellow citrine is for your solar plexus chakra, and you can feel the energies best at your solar plexus. And these gems open the chakras that are associated with these colours the best. You can feel it. Also I've heard that strong psychics are said to see these 'disks' spinning with the bright colours.

Rose Quartz is associated with the heart chakra, and is used in opening this chakra. And so it is often placed over the heart. Rose Quartz is also placed on one or all seven of the chakras to help clear trapped or suppressed emotional energy from them. This balances and strengthens the treated chakras so that they can more efficiently handle the flow and expression of emotional energy. Roselle is the name given when in spherical form. Died or painted rose quartz taints the gem.
Rose Quartz initiates deep emotional purification by helping you release the emotional limitations that hinder personal growth and happiness. Rose Quartz energy helps you express, release, and resolve suppressed emotions. These repressed or unacknowledged feelings impede emotional and physical health. Unexpressed emotions place pressure on your physical body and can eventually manifest as disease. They also block your experience of greater spirituality, self-awareness, and self-understanding. Indeed, they can act as great stumbling blocks to positive change and growth.
Suppressed emotions are like locked doors within your being. Rose helps you open these doors and then gently stimulates your heart to open so that you can express the feelings hidden there. Rose Quartz does not heal emotions, but rather helps you resolve and let go of them. It will help reveal long-forgotten emotions that have been pushed deep within as a result of many kinds of conditioning. These may even include love, joy, or happiness as well as more difficult emotions, like fear, anger, and grief.
Rose Quartz works in two phases: In the first phase, it stirs suppressed emotions, allowing you to acknowledge, understand, and then feel them; in the second phase, it encourages you to express these feelings, resolve and let go of them, and move on. As long as you wear the Rose Quartz, it releases more and more deeply embedded collections of suppressed emotions. Rose Quartz also initiates an energetic stability in your physical body to help prepare it for this emotional outflow.
Rose Quartz can help people with many kinds of emotional conditions - from those with only slight emotional problems to those whose emotional state is so disharmonious that, by society's standards, they are considered emotionally ill. Rose Quartz can help the emotionally ill regain some strength and hope.
Although its action is subtle, Rose Quartz is effective and should not be overlooked, especially if you have any emotional disharmony whatsoever. Even if you don't feel you have an emotional problem, it can be an interesting experience in self-awareness and self-understanding to wear Rose Quartz and observe the emotions that start coming up and the ones you try to suppress. This experience may also help you recognize which mental attitudes are causing you to suppress particular emotions. Because it can show people so much about themselves, Rose Quartz is a helpful addition to any counseling or self-help program.
Rose Quartz should never be worn touching gold. The combination of the two is destructive. Although gold can be beneficial in many situations, it tends to lock in one's state of consciousness and close the heart. These effects are in direct conflict with the mission of Rose Quartz.
You can charge your gems by meditating and visualizing a door opening inside the gem. Hold the gem in your dominant hand, during a full, new, or waxing moon, and visualize your positive, loving energy flowing into it. Do not over fill the gem or it can become useless. Then close the door! This information is ancient and comes from many different cultures dating back to egyptian and celtic times. I hope this helps answer your questions!

I'm wondering what gold does to people wearing it? I get this weird vibe about gold too or any metal for that fact. I go the other way when I see it. Isn't that strange. It annoys me for some strange reason. I've always told people that I don't like it, but never really understood the underlying reason...hmmm.
One question, where do I get this ball of energy from? Next time I have an OBE, and I don't feel like I have the energy to go anywhere, I'm going to look for energies on the astral body to tap into, so I should go back to my body and play with the chakras? I'm wondering about all these balls of energy now. How does one do it? I'll explore within the next couple of weeks. Just having the thoughts of balls of energy may help.

For me I stand in a QI Gong position with my arms out in front of me lowered with my hands closed fists and I imagine me drawing energy into my fists. After several deep breaths I open my hands to form as if I'm holding the ball and imagine drawing energy to the ball. With the in breath I expand my hands and arms out wards to increase the size of the ball and on the out breath I push my hands back in increasing the density of the ball. As I do this I slowly raise my arms out in front of me till I'm holding this gigantic ball of energy above my head. Then on an in breath looking straight up at the ball (I normally do this with my eyes closed but my roommate does all of his meditation with his eyes open) I let my arms slowly drop sideways slowly dropping the ball of energy right into my crown chakra and feel it flow down through all my chakras and though out my whole body. I feel like I'm bathing in the energy or showering in it. I bring my arms back in front of me and repeat the process till I figure I've gained enough energy. Each sequence for me take maybe five minutes to show how long I build the energy ball and how slow my movements are. The deeper you are in trance the easier it is to see the ball of energy so I recommend meditating or doing yoga for a good 30 minutes to an hour before going into this energy raising but I sometimes go right into it if I don't have time. Hope this helps.
