Not to sound too contary but if it's attacking you in your dreams, then maybe it's an archatype if thats the case then i'd have to guess it's the shadow, the opposite of your natural self Maybe it's a part of yourself that has been supressed. In which case maybe some solid meditation is needed to seek out it's cause, but you 1st must eliminate the victim mindset, perhaps your feelings of powerlesness is what is allowing it to have so much power and the more you surrender to the helplessness the more powerful it becomes.
Inside burns a fire, a source of infinate light I know you have felt it we all have those times where we are unstoppable where the world makes sense and you can feel the oneness between you and the world may I suggest that you look for it in your meditations as well.
all the best Micheal

that it would but you might wanna keep it close at hand it's suprising how much you drink when its right there, I have a bottle on my desk and usually have one in my bag, also by having it close at hand you can take advantage of the lazy factor in that you dont need to move or maybe thats just me

Eat a salad once a day and get you mitts on some fruit and veggies, like eat an apple insted of that choclate bar, try and choose foods with high water content to help. also I found that I only seem to drink water when it's at hand so get a water bottle. enjoy

well just rember that air and food are your fuel, eat a good brekky to get started. your endurance is determined by your cardio system so yeah swimmings good for that heres a link to a good health and fitness website www.menshealth.comwww.menshealth.co.uk/I know they say mens health but the fitness and diet sections should provide you with some good infomation to go on anyway oh and dont forget to warm up and warm down, strech your muscles before and after, this will help prevent the aforementioned sore muscles and breaking ligaments

I half agree, yes the bible is a bit outdated, but some of the principles and ideas presented in it are still relevent to modern life. I know a guy and i'd pefer him to be a christian rather then a hitman for a gang.

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some meditation techniques, as I seem to find that holding a blank mind is very difficult. I am trying to energise/open my charkas so any help would be much appreciated... Thanks

Well Hello new here 1st post, IMHO how the physical body evolves is of little consequense, and I welcome the technological evolution with open arm as it seems for me to show us more and more that we are beings of inconhrensible power, however without the spritual evolution to go with it I fear that we will be for the 1st time in the history of the planet a species which wipes it's self out.
but then I have never felt at home in this world

Good evening all,
Have been having some rather strage sensations of sickness during meditation and was wondering if anyone here would like to offer their thoughts on the matter.
Meditation practice has been going well and have been able to attain some rather deep states. I have been using music/sounds/guided meditations but seem to be having the rather unfourtnate side effect of feeling physically ill in my stomach after about 20 mins. Not entirely sure of possable causes but there is 3 that I can think of first being that I have never been good at deep controled breathing, second my room doesn't have much in the way of furniture and I must sit on the bed which may be causing blockages in enery flow, third and most probable is that due to my delightful years of alcahol abuse the doc reckons I have damaged my stomach, so hoping that a course of medication and pretty much quitting the drink will help with that.
So assuming that it's not one of the above what do you think it is, assuming it is (apart from the 3rd) what do you suggest be done about it. It's kinda frustrating coming so far just to have this happen so any input would be apreciated.
thanks guys

A rather simple meditation is to sit quietly and watch the thoughts flow through your head.... then the question becomes, who is watching my thoughts? I must admit I am a little jelous, and I look forward to reading more of your posts.

The most helpful tip i recived from lilac was to increase your dream recall, wakeing up and writing down everything that you dreamed. I know its not obe but the end result will be the same clearer and better recall upon return
