yes I would like to know what magick is to all of you... ? how do you see it in your lives or as a part of your life? Hello LilacSky...long time no see. Magick....that spelling stems from Crowley's writings. Magick is the manipulation of first matter though intent. First matter has been coined "The Living Garment of God" and it is the manifestation of our imagination...our dreams and ambitions. The smallest quantum particle conceived. All things are basically one substance at a primordial level. This first matter or some call it ether is everywhere at our whim. We have the freedom to make order out of this chaotic substance. For good or evil. Our spirit acts upon this first matter, which our bodies are essentially made of....we make it so. Everything has spirit and this spirit makes order out of chaos and structure is formed. The Earth has spirit.....it’s what makes things go. It is why plants grow. It is the big why.....understand?

Hi everyone My apologies for my lack of participation here. I post in a couple of forums and now I see that the topics have been expanded so I will contribute where I feel I can. I had posted this story on another forum and it fits here nicely so I am re-posting it here. Here it is... I wasn’t sure where to put this post however it is part of my story. I don’t think I can sum up my story in one brief post so I will give chapters here and there as I get inspired to do so. I have mentioned before that I find the ingestion of alkaloids to induce heightened states of awareness fascinating and thrilling because at times one rides the razor thin edge of sanity. It is almost like a roller coaster ride or for a better analogy riding a rowboat in the midst of a hurricane. When one sits in the trough of the waves the waters are daunting however when one rides the crest, the view is breathtaking. It was in the mid 80s and I had gone to a jazz concert (Chick Corea) with two friends. On the way in I had brought with me one hit of Mescaline, how one hit is determined is no exact science because the alkaloid (3,4,5-Trimethoxybenzeneethanamine) is extracted from cacti and the amount varies depending on the species. However this was a rather strong dose and I took a leap of faith in myself. When the alkaloid fully took hold of me I was standing in the crowd and there was a piano solo being played I remember. All of a sudden I was shifted somewhere else, my awareness took a multi-dimensional view and a small part of me...the insignificant part it seemed at the time was my physical presence at the concert, my greater part was in a state where I saw my future, past, and present simultaneously. I was hearing people’s thoughts around me and there was a singer singing at the time and I had read her mind and heard her thoughts as words before she sang. I knew she sensed something odd because I was thinking or aware along side with her and our eyes met from afar several times. There were other “knowing” realizations which I cannot express. Time is an illusion; we are limited by our internal energy and our physical chemistry. The perception of time shifts when one transmutes. I was also having a dialog with some being....multitasking is child’s play when you transmute. Plants have spirits and the being I communicated with was the plant spirit. Mescalito is the spirit according to Shamanic teachings. She is revealing and kind. When I reconstituted I remember having the feeling of wanting to go back to that awesome place. After that I studied the mysteries with new respect. I had been studying occultism since I was fourteen however it seemed like it was all theory maybe wishful thinking. The experience however crystallized everything. This wasn’t my first paranormal experience however it was one that left a deep impression on my view of reality. This is a beautiful forum....nice job Ronni!

There was a movie that addressed this scenario. I think the name was "The island of Dr. Monroe"...or something like that. Marlin Brando starred in it. I think the danger would be creating a species of human that would take advantage of a superior ability to feed the lower base nature. Just like the movie surmised. It is fascinating however I wonder if some kind of Pandora's box might be opened.
